Vehicle drives through deli in North Brunswick

NORTH BRUNSWICK – A driver of a vehicle reportedly lost control, causing the sedan to wind up inside a deli in North Brunswick.

Officers on scene at a crash at the North Brunswick Deli & Grill, 542 Georges Road, reported no injuries around 5:05 p.m. on  May 11, according to information provided by Police Captain Brian Hoiberg.

Construction officials were also on scene, looking into the safety of the structure, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the officers on scene. Hoiberg said the driver reported making a right turn onto Georges Road, losing control of the vehicle and winding up inside the deli.
