An Evening for Emil, a tricky tray/bingo community fundraiser for the Overmeres, will be held at 6 p.m. on June 10 at O’Dea Hall of St. Bernadette’s Church, Villanova Road and Princeton Road, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Emil Overmere, who has worked for St. Bernadette’s for more than 25 years, is unable to work due to severe health conditions. There is no income nor any medical benefits for him or his son Foster. Two years ago, Emil’s wife Colleen passed away.
