Red Bank Humanists to hold forum on July 9

The Red Bank Humanists will hold a forum on July 9 with John V. Pavlik, Ph.D., entitled “Virtual Reality and the Looming Transformation of Democracy.”

The event will run from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at  the Red Bank Charter School, 58 Oakland St. The program is open to the public and admission is free.

Dr. Pavlik’s talk will discuss how emerging technologies, including virtual reality (VR), are fundamentally reshaping public engagement and the democratic process

Dr. Pavlik  is a professor, Journalism and Media Studies Department, School of Communication and Information, at Rutgers University.
