Mayor, police officer, firefighter to appear as guest readers at Old Bridge Library

Special community members will serve as guest readers during the Old Bridge Library’s new “Around the Town” storytime series.

The sessions from 7-8 p.m. will also feature a craft related to the stories being read and are geared for kids ages two and up and their families.

The schedule is Mayor Owen Henry, July 18; Police Officer Patrick D’Onofrio, July 25; Stephanie Colvell, first grade teacher from Schirra Elementary School, Aug. 1; and Fire Marshall Tom Gerity, Aug. 15.

 

The library is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center. For more information, call 732-721-5600, ext. 5033.
