“[The officers] quickly gave my family and I much needed peace of mind, knowing that we were once safe in our home,” the resident wrote. “Please join me in recognizing and acknowledging the extraordinary professionalism that both Patrolman Carideo and Detective Cpl. Dinicola displayed and that we have come to expect from our local law enforcement agency, but has gone overlooked for far too long in today’s society.”
