Live Well at the JCC

The Jewish Community Center is holding several Live Well events in September and October at the center, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison.

Bob Matland, a resident of Edison and owner of the Black Belt Institute in Metuchen, will instruct Tai Chi classes, which will be held on Mondays from 9-10 a.m. starting Sept. 11.

Peggy Potter will instruct Zumba Gold classes, which are geared towards the active older adult. The classes will be held on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. on Sept. 5.

Karen Rosen will instruct chair yoga, which is a guided stretch in a standing position or using a chair as an extension and support, on Wednesdays from 12-1 p.m. starting Sept. 6.

Peggy Potter will instruct low impact cardio fusion, which is a functional fitness class to slow down the aging process and increase strength, bone and muscle density, balance, coordination and flexibility. The classes will be held on Thursdays starting Sept. 7.

The classes are free for community campus members and $45 for non-members for all classes through mid June 2018. Registration is a must. For more information visit www.jccmc.org.
