Middletown square dancing club’s annual event Sept. 22

The Middletown Ramblers, an organization that has has taught the art of square dancing to the area residents for more than 40 years, will hold its 14th annual “Barn Dance” on Sept. 22.

During September, the club sponsors a “Barn Dance” to introduce people to the first steps of square dancing, according to a statement from the club.

This free dance will take place at 7-9:30 p.m. at Thompson Park’s Activity Barn, which is located at 805 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft.

This dance and classes are sponsored and offered by the Monmouth County Parks System. No experience is required and refreshments are included.
