Rocco Francis Savino, 94, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Home, Lawrenceville, NJ
Born in Brooklyn, NY he was a longtime resident of Bethpage, NY, before moving to Lawrenceville 3 years ago. Rocco was a Veteran of WWII, having honorably served his country with the US Army. He retired as a mechanic with Gruman Aerospace, after many years of service. Rocco enjoyed spending time with his family grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Son of the late Vito and Antenette Savino; husband of the late Anna Savino; he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law William and Barbara Savino, Joseph and Joanne Savino and Robert and Elizabeth Savino; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:30AM at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
