The site features an array of historical photos throughout its pages, along with a trivia feature and opportunities to join and donate to the Historical Society.

Restoration of the nearly 250-year-old John Buckelew House at the Pulda Farm is prominently featured, including photos and a copy of the Historian’s Report which details the rich history of the house and farm, and the confirmed presence of slaves in the early 19th century, according to information provided by Michael Hritz, president of the society.

A gala page features many photos from the 240th Anniversary Gala in 2014, along with copies of gala programs which include dozens of photos and images from North Brunswick’s past.

Board members dedicated two years to organizing and establishing a formal archive, according to Hritz. A trove of documents, photographs and ephemera have been inventoried and documented in an archive catalog which is linked on the website. These items can be made available for viewing and copying on request and, in some instances, original items may be available for loan or exhibit, according to the statement.

The society accepts donations of historical items of interest that are directly related to the Township of North Brunswick and municipal life. Photographs, documents, recordings, programs and other items of cultural interest such as signs and other memorabilia may be shared by email at nbhistsoc1779@gmail.com or by contacting Hritz at 732-247-0922, ext. 440.

The website was designed and is hosted by Princeton Online and can be found at www.northbrunswickhistory.org.
