Registration for U.S. Citizenship Preparation course begins Dec. 18

The Old Bridge Public Library will offer a U.S. Citizenship Preparation course beginning in January. Classes will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6-8 p.m. from Jan. 8 through March 29, 2018.

In-person registration is required at the library’s information sessions from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 18 or Jan. 4, 2018. The sessions will explore the citizenship process and provide an overview of the course. A representative from Literacy New Jersey will be on hand to answer questions.

The comprehensive 12-week course will cover practice questions from the U.S. Citizenship Test, will instruct attendees on how to complete the N-400 application, and teach key words and phrases used on the test and in the oral interview.
