NORTH BRUNSWICK – In celebration of Computer Science Education Week, Livingston Park Elementary School held an Hour of Code evening experience.

Families were invited to spend an hour with their children writing computer code on Dec. 6. To kick off the evening, families gathered in the cafeteria to participate in activities involving problem solving, computational thinking, sequential tasks, written programming and following algorithms, according to information provided by Kim George. The families then moved to their assigned areas where teachers invited them into classrooms to follow Hour of Code online tutorials at Code.org and MadewithCode.
