Harlem Wizards will play Colts Neck school staffers

COLTS NECK – The Colts Neck K-8 School District PTO is inviting sports fans to watch staff members from the school district take on the Harlem Wizards in a basketball game that will be played at 7 p.m. March 15 at Colts Neck High School, Route 537 and Five Points Road.

The Wizards are a professional basketball team that performs at schools with an array of trick shots and fan interaction. The Wizards will play against a team of district staff members named The Educators.

The Educators consist of Cedar Drive Middle School Principal Colin Rigby, Conover Road Elementary School Principal Jim Osmond, curriculum coordinator Melissa Jones, occupational therapist Ryan White, Cedar Drive teachers Hope Delia and Andrew Czerwinski, Conover Road Elementary School teachers Debra Tarby and Sara Campbell, Conover Road Primary School teachers Lauren Quigley, Richard Baiata and B.J. Willis, Conover Road Elementary School guidance counselor Anne Rauso and Conover Road Primary School head custodian Wilson Nunez.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Refreshments and souvenirs will be available. Tickets may be purchased for $20 before the game and $25 at the door. Courtside seats for the fundraiser are $50. Patrons who buy courtside seats will meet a Wizards player before the game and get autographs and a poster. Tickets may be purchased at https://harlemwizards.thundertix.com/events/120247
