Sayreville resident begins student teaching at King’s College

Haley Tomaszewski of Sayreville, who is a student at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, recently began a 14-week student teaching experience at Wyoming Valley West, Dana Street Elementary, in Pennsylvania.

Tomaszewski is a senior education major and has been on the dean’s list four semesters at King’s. She has played on the women’s field hockey team at the college for three years.

Supervised student teaching is required to fulfill King’s education degree requirements and to obtain a Pennsylvania Teacher Certificate.
