North Brunswick police remind residents to Hide, Lock, Take belongings

NORTH BRUNSWICK – The North Brunswick Police Department recently subscribed to the Hide, Lock, Take awareness program to help residents remain safe.

The program reminds residents to “hide” their things, “lock” their cars and “take” their keys with them, according to information provided by the NBPD.

Since its beginning, the HLT program has been one of the most successful campaigns against auto crimes and vehicle break-ins, reducing such crimes by 85 percent in the United States and Canada, according to the statement.

Signs will be posted around town and within residential complexes.
