Jamesburg Library introduces ‘Bookworms’ program for children

The Jamesburg Library has begun a new children’s program offered jointly with the Jamesburg Garden Club.

The Jamesburg Library Bookworms is geared toward children age 10 and under, and will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Saturdays, April 21-June 9, at the library, 229 Gatzmer Ave., Jamesburg.

The children will plant seedlings and watch them grow week by week, look at different kinds of root systems, learn about bees and pollination, read stories, and more.

Space is limited. Stop by the library or call 732-521-0440 to register by April 16.
