The Middlesex County Center for Empowerment will begin the “Arts & Wellness for Survivors of Sexual Violence” series of groups and workshops including alternative therapy groups such as art, gardening, yoga/movement, quilting, crocheting and creative writing, at the center, 29 Oakwood Ave., Edison.
The first Visual Arts group will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays, April 18-May 16. Learn to cope with trauma symptoms using painting, drawing and ink.

Groups are open to all survivors of sexual violence of any gender identity who complete a group intake form.
