Death of man in Sayreville under investigation

SAYREVILLE – Authorities are working together to determine the circumstance surrounding the death of a 21-year-old man.

Police responded to Giera Court in Sayreville at approximately 7 a.m. on April 28 and found the deceased male, according to a joint statement provided by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief John Zebrowski of the Sayreville Police Department.

An autopsy by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner was scheduled for April 29, according to the statement. The results were not known as of press time.
