Free seedlings available to South River residents on May 5

The South River Environmental/Shade Tree Commission will distribute free seedlings to borough residents from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 5 at the Department of Public Works, 9 Ivan Way, South River.

The small trees were given to South River through a grant from the New Jersey Tree Recovery Program.

Limit is five seedlings per resident.
