Key Food Stores Co-Operative Inc., a chain of primarily independently owned and corporate grocery stores, has opened its newest Food Emporium location at 420 Route 520, Marlboro. Mayor Jonathan Hornik joined Key Food executives including Chief Executive Officer Dean
Janeway, Chief Operating Officer George Knobloch, Chief Financial Officer Sharon Konzelman, Chief Information Officer Joseph Schleupner, and Vice President of Business Development John Durante at a grande opening ceremony. The store totals 26,000 square feet and will offer prepared meals and to-go food options. The deli department features
a full line of Boars Head products and catering options. Customers can enjoy fresh alternatives from the sushi department and juice bar. Fresh baked goods will be available in the bakery section. The meat department will have an open window butcher available for custom cuts. The Food Emporium will also offer a full line of organic and gluten free specialty items, as well as kosher and international alternatives.

CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in nuclear medicine as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Nuclear medicine is a branch of medical imaging that uses small amounts of radioactive material, ingested by the patient, to diagnose and treat a variety of disease. The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs are assessed.

LysFit, a boutique gym, has opened at 120 Route 33, Manalapan. LysFIt offers mixed modal classes combining facets of free weights, kettle bells, power lifting, rowing, running, gymnastics and bodybuilding in a structured format. Nutrition counseling and one-on-one personal training are available. Lysanne Loucel, the founder of LysFIt, said, “Our family run
