The North Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) will hold its 15th annual
Junior Police Academy from 8 a.m to 3:45 p.m. from July 16-26 at North Brunswick Township High School, 98 Raider Road, North Brunswick.

The academy encourages youths to be exceptional citizens through law enforcement education. This program allows police officers the opportunity to become positive role models through a hands-on, positive experience.

Children entering grades seven through nine are exposed to the rigorous educational environment of an actual police academy geared toward an age-appropriate setting. Once the academy is completed, children who remain members will assist the NBPD with community events throughout the year.

Applications will be available beginning June 18 at police headquarters, 710 Hermann Road, North Brunswick, and must be completed and returned by 3 p.m. June 24. Space is very limited. Applicants are considered based on many factors, including the order applications are received.

Applicants will be notified by phone call on or around June 27.

Do not call the police department about the program. Parents should email NBFARS@aol.com with any questions.
