East Brunswick-based Drama Salon is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month.
Before opening Drama Salon, owner Steven Camins spent nearly 20 years managing hair salons for Vidal Sassoon in both New York and Beverly Hills. At Sassoon, he regularly worked with celebrities such as Anna Wintour, Jacklyn Smith, Suzanne Summers, Deborah Harry, Rod Stewart, and Dustin Hoffman, to name a few. He was personally mentored by the legendary hair icon Vidal Sassoon.
Drama Salon has been in the same location at 3 Lexington Downs Center in East Brunswick since it first opened his doors in 1993.
On July 20, Drama will celebrate its anniversary and give back to the community by co-hosting an all-day fundraiser. That same evening, Drama will host a special cocktail party to thank the community and the clients who have helped make Drama a success for more than a quarter of a century.
