Aberdeen Township will host its Backpack Giveaway and barbeque on Aug. 25 at 1 p.m. at Midland Park.
Midland Park is located off of Jersey Avenue and Rose Street in Cliffwood.

The event will feature music, food and beverages. Children who attend the event will receive free backpacks filled with school supplies.
The event is being coordinated by the Aberdeen Township Police Department and PBA Local 163, Quality 1st Basement Systems, Mayor Fred Tagliarini and the Aberdeen Township Council.
