Sally Gaskill Brenner, wife of Ronald J., passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024, surrounded by family. Sally is mother to Carol Salzer, Nancy Knutsen, Katherine Graham, and Richard Brenner. Known for her loyalty and love for her family, her friends, her horses, and her dogs, Sally will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A resident of Pennington, NJ, for more than 38 years, Sally was born on January 16, 1935 to Marion and Joseph F. Gaskill Sr. in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Denison University, majoring in Political Science and was an active member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree Sally worked for United

Airlines and attended University of Pennsylvania where she received her Masters in Education. Sally went on to teach for the Ridley Township School District, teaching Junior High School English and History. Sally’s most precious job titles were that of homemaker and mother. She took great pride in raising her four children and inspiring them to be the best they could be. Sally attended every sporting event, theatre performance, recital, awards ceremony, horse show, and graduation possible of her children’s, grandchildren’s, & great grandchildren’s. As a dedicated wife, Sally enjoyed supporting her husband, Ron, in his business endeavors, welcoming guests from near and far into their home and accompanying him on numerous trips to places around the world. Sally enjoyed raising and training dogs- including service dogs, raising and caring for horses- some from birth, volunteering for the Hopewell Township Board of Adjustments, and being involved at her children’s schools.

Sally is predeceased by her husband, Ronald J. Brenner, whom she loved deeply. Together they created a wonderful life filled with happiness and dedication to family, friends, horses, and dogs. Sally is survived by her aforementioned four children alongside their spouses Norman Knutsen, Larry Graham, and Jennifer Brenner, her ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Pennswood Village Penn Hall 1382 Newtown-Langhorne Rd. Newtown, PA. Sally’s nephew, Pete Livingston, is honored to be officiating. A small reception follows at Pennswood Village.
