Sammy’s Hope 5K to benefit homeless animals in the area

To support its ability to care for, love and enrich the lives of homeless animals and find them forever homes, Sammy’s Hope Animal Welfare & Adoption Center in Sayreville will hold its first 5K Fun Run and Walk event beginning at 9 a.m. on Nov. 3.

Runners and walkers will meet at the Capik Nature Preserve Trails on Bordentown Avenue in Sayreville.

Registration fees are $35 for the run or $10 for the walk.
