Middlesex County to hold Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day

Middlesex County will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Middlesex County College, 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison.

Adhesives, aerosol cans, antifreeze, brake fluid, car batteries, cleaners, drain cleaner, fire extinguishers, fluorescent bulbs, gasoline, kerosene, lighter fluid, mercury, motor oil, paints, pain thinner, pesticides and herbicides, photographic chemicals, pool chemicals, propane tanks, stains and varnishes, thermostats and thermometers will be accepted.

Prohibited items include alkaline batteries, appliances, electronics, explosives and munitions, furniture, infectious/medical waste, smoke detectors and tires.
