Nominations sought for McGackin award

FREEHOLD – With a tradition that dates back to 1986, Freehold Borough is again seeking assistance in recognizing those individuals who embrace volunteerism in the community and enhance the quality of life for residents.

The McGackin Renaissance Award Committee is seeking nominations for the annual
Volunteer of the Year award, as well as a member of the business community who has
gone above and beyond to help make Freehold Borough the great town it is, according to a press release.

Individuals may submit the name of a nominee. The submission must include the nominee’s name, address and phone number, the name and phone number of the person making the nomination, and a resume of all the nominated individual has accomplished to make the Freehold Borough a better place in which to live and work, according to the press release.

Information for nominees may be submitted to the John G. McGackin Renaissance
Committee, 51 W. Main St., Freehold, NJ 07728. The deadline for nominations is
Nov. 26.
