Dr. Russell Brokstein of Hometown Family Wellness Center, 9 Broadway, Freehold, will hold the annual “Baby It’s Cold Outside” holiday drive to help those less fortunate during the holiday and winter seasons. Community members are invited to drop off coats, hats, scarves, gloves, mittens and non-perishable food items. This marks the 13th consecutive year Brokstein is participating.

“I opened my practice in the town I grew up in to not only help the community be more healthy naturally, but to give back to the town I love. There are so many people who need our help during the holidays and winter. People shouldn’t be cold and hungry so I decided to not only collect warm coats and clothing items, but food so we can give a little gift for the holidays to others. Please help us help others so they can also enjoy this holiday season and stay warm this winter,” he said.

Individuals who bring in at least five canned or boxed food items and/or coats will receive a
certificate for a complimentary pain relief and health consultation for themselves or somebody they care about. Brokstein is collecting for Open Door and St. Peter’s Thrift Shop. The holiday drive will continue through Jan. 2. Details: 732-780-0044.
