South River Parks & Recreation will hold a Youth Fishing Challenge on June 8, rain or shine, at Bissett’s Pond, Grekoski Park, Whitehead Avenue, South River.
Age categories are 5-8, 9-12 and 13-16.

One hot dog, bag of chips and drink per ticketed person.
Prizes will be awarded for most fish caught, longest fish and heaviest fish, per age group, for first, second and third place.
Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. Fishing will be held from 5-7 p.m.
