St. Helen’s School students win poster contest

St. Helen’s School second grader Aanya Kushwaha, left, and fifth grader Morgan Caraballo-Ocampo are the winners of the Smokey Bear and Woodsey Owl Poster Contest. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service and the National Garden Clubs of New Jersey offer the contest to encourage the understanding of wildlife preservation and basic environmental principles to youngsters. The Terra Nova Garden Club of Edison sponsors the contest for elementary students in Edison. The winning posters are available for viewing at the Edison Public Library on Grove Avenue.
