As part of the “Christmas in July” program, donations can be dropped off during business hours and placed under the Christmas Tree inside Friendly’s, located at 180 Ferry Road. A list of items most needed can be found at www.oldbridge.com/foodbank.

At the conclusion of the program on July 31, Friendly’s will hold a fundraiser from 5-9 p.m., where 20 percent of sales will benefit the food bank. During the event, there will be appearances by Santa Claus, The Little Mermaid and Buzz Lightyear, who will be available for photos from 6-8 p.m.

Non-perishable donations are accepted year-round at the Food Bank, the Recycling Center and the Old Bridge Public Library, all located within the Municipal Complex. For more information, call 732-721-5600, ext. 6625 or visit www.oldbridge.com/foodbank.
