Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center, a nonprofit theater company dedicated to diversity, will present Nikolai Gogol’s classic but rarely-performed comedy “The Government Inspector” on Aug. 9 and Aug. 11 at Metuchen High School, 400 Grove Ave., Metuchen.

The performances are sponsored in part by the Metuchen Arts Council. The play features a talented ensemble, which will give the performances an immersive feeling, as townspeople will interact with the audience before the show and at intermission.
