Healthcare workers, librarians invited to workshop on LGBTQ education

“Being LGBTQ in New Jersey: Education and Advocacy for a Marginalized Community” will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 1 at the East Brunswick Library, 2 Civic Center Dr., East Brunswick.

Bianca Mayes, Health and Wellness coordinator of Garden State Equality, will discuss LGBTQ issues in healthcare and the public sector. The workshop is open to people who work in the healthcare field or public librarians.
