How Lane bridge in North Brunswick now open

EDITOR’S NOTE: The How Lane bridge was opened and fully functioning as of 7 a.m. Dec. 11.

NORTH BRUNSWICK – The How Lane bridge was closed in both directions in North Brunswick on Dec. 10 due to emergency repairs.

Engineers from the state will be responding later tonight, Dec. 10, or early tomorrow, Dec. 11  to assess what repair work needs to be done, according to information provided at 8 p.m. on Dec. 10.

“At this time, we cannot provide a timetable of when repairs will be completed. Please plan an alternate route for your morning and afternoon commutes tomorrow,” the statement read.
