Tigger House Foundation to hold Frozen Plunge Jan. 11

The Tigger House Foundation’s Student Alliance will hold its inaugural Frozen Plunge on Jan. 11 at Edgewater Beach and Cabana Club, located at 1465 Ocean Ave. in Sea Bright.

Registration is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The plunge will be at 1 p.m.

The Tigger House Student Alliance educates students about the disease of addiction and the consequences addiction can have on one’s physical and mental health, family, relationships, and other areas of functioning; and how and why substances are abused, according to the foundation.

Proceeds raised during the Frozen Plunge will be used to support student alliance initiatives which will have an impact on preventing overdose deaths and promoting recovery, according to the foundation.
