EDDISON – Police are investigating the collision of a car and a private 16-seat special-needs school bus, owned by Barker Bus Co., Bridgewater, carrying three people, including a four-year-old child, at Mill Road and Horizon Drive, according to police.

The crash occurred at 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 20. Police said neither the school bus occupants – the driver, a 49-year-old bus aide and youngster – or the car’s driver were seriously injured. The bus aide complained of minor pain and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) examined him at the scene, but he was not hospitalized, police said.
