Samara Rose Schechter of Howell has been named to the president’s list (GPA of 3.8 or higher) for the 2019 fall semester at Husson University, Bangor, Maine. Samara is a junior who is enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Public Health/Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program.

Kutztown University, Kutztown, Pa., announced that eight members of its track and field teams earned All-Region recognition across five events, including Julia Wiemken of Howell, announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top five individuals in their event in their  region. Wiemken was honored for her achievements in the 800-meter run. At the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships, Wiemken posted a new PR of 2:17.62 in the 800, which ranks seventh all-time in program history.

Heidi Rivera of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list at Berkeley College for the 2019 fall semester.
