“I continue to stress the importance of staying home to flatten the curve,” Mayor Gerald Tamburro said in the statement. “I also want to warn our residents not to fall victim to scammers who are taking advantage of this health crisis. No reputable agency is calling to ask if you want to be tested. Do not give your credit or debit card to any unsolicited caller – now or ever.”

The COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road, Monroe, is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Pre-registration is required. Limited availability; those without appointments must wait in line. To pre-register, visit www.myinstadocmonroe.com or call 609-207-3220 to speak with a medical professional.
