The East Brunswick Public Library’s Lunch ’n’ Learn with the Doctor Series will feature Cancer During COVID: Lung Cancer from noon to 1 p.m. May 15, with Dr. Todd Flannery, radiation oncologist with Princeton Radiation Oncology, and Dr. Michael Nissenblatt, medical oncologist with Regional Cancer Care Associates, Central Jersey.
Topics include diagnosing lung cancer, determining the goals of care, selecting stage-specific treatments, discussing novel strategies, addressing how the coronavirus pandemic influences diagnosis and treatment, choosing between surgery and radiation and the role of stereotactic body radiation therapy.
