Body pulled from Peddie Lake

Hightstown Borough police are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man whose body was found in Peddie Lake around 8:30 p.m. Sept. 1.

Police were sent to the area of Peddie Lake near the Tavern on the Lake business after a caller reported a body in the lake. The person was unresponsive.

The body of Dana “Mike” Fields, a 60-year-old Hightstown resident, was pulled from Peddie Lake with the help of the Hightstown Fire Department’s dive team and the Robbinsville Township EMS, police said.

The incident is under investigation, but it does not appear to be suspicious at this time, police said.
