Assisting Hands Home Care, a Tinton Falls-based business that provides professional in-home care services to clients in Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties, announced it has received the 2020 Best of Home Care – Provider of Choice Award from Home Care Pulse.

“Our goal is to provide the best care to our clients and their families,” said Gerry Patrizio, president and owner of Assisting Hands Home Care. “We use Home Care Pulse to gather honest feedback about the services our certified home health aides give so we can constantly improve the care we deliver.”

The Provider of Choice Award is granted only to the top-ranking home care providers, based on client satisfaction scores gathered by Home Care Pulse, an independent satisfaction research firm for home care, according to a press release.

 

Red Bank held its annual Backpacks and School Supplies Pick-Up Day on Sept. 5. More than 400 backpacks full of items for the 2020-21 school year were distributed. The event was held at Pilgrim Baptist Church of Red Bank and was a collaborative effort of Pilgrim Baptist Church, Lunch Break of Red Bank, the Boys and Girls Club of Red Bank and the Red Bank Police Department. Tyra Priester of Pilgrim Baptist Church served as coordinator for the event.
