Hillsborough Township was chosen for a T-Mobile Hometown Grant in the amount of $4,200. T-Mobile administers this grant program to invest in the growth and development of communities nationwide. Hillsborough was one of over 500 towns across America that applied for the grant and was only one of 25 chosen for the funding. This grant will be used to create an Arts in the Parks program to promote creativity throughout the Township’s parks in the coming years.

To celebrate this event, the township held a holiday open house with crafts, snacks, and a presentation of the grant funding on Dec. 14. In addition to fun activities and hot chocolate, Santa was on hand to visit with kids young and old.
