Dorothy Mae Duncan, 91, of Hamilton Square, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
Born in Hamilton Square in 1933, to Frederick and Ella Bowers, Dorothy lived most of her life in Hamilton Square. Dorothy was a graduate of Allentown High School. In 1952, she married the love of her life, Norman Duncan, and briefly moved to Robbinsville before returning to Hamilton Square to raise their family. Dorothy was proud of being a homemaker and was an excellent cook. She especially enjoyed the holiday meals that she would prepare for her family.
Predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Ella (Rowell) Bowers, her husband, Norman Duncan; her brothers, Frederick Bowers and Charles Bowers; and her sister, Loretta Semonik. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Hogan and her husband, Daniel, of Robbinsville; her two sons, Norman Duncan, Jr. of Hamilton and Douglas Duncan and his wife, Robi, of Fieldsboro, NJ; her sister, Marion Bowers; her 4 grandchildren; her 4 great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services to honor Mrs. Duncan were held privately.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
