North Brunswick announces new recycling schedule

NORTH BRUNSWICK – The township’s new recycling schedule is effective immediately as of Feb. 15.

Zone 1 will be collected every other Monday: neighborhoods on both sides of Route 130, bordered by both sides of Adams Lane, north of Oak Road through Deerbrook Village, including all neighborhoods off of Old Georges Road.

Zone 2 will be collected every other Tuesday: neighborhoods on both sides of Route 130, east of Adams Lane to Route 1, including Oak Road and Mount Drive. This includes Society Hill, Driscoll Road and Driscoll Court.

Zone 3 will be collected every other Wednesday: neighborhoods between Route 1 and Route 27 between Finnegans Lane and the southwest side of Cozzens Lane up to Adams Lane West. This includes streets off of Route 1 between Thalia and Felicia.

Zone 4 will be collected every other Thursday: neighborhoods bordered by the east side of Cozzens Lane to How Lane between Jersey Avenue and Route 27. This includes Hickory Lane, Princess Drive and all streets off Arlington including North Oaks Boulevard.

Zone 5 will be collected every other Friday: neighborhoods on both sides of Livingston Avenue, Patton Street, Ridgewood Avenue, Linwood Place, Hermann Road, Milltown Road, Chrome Street, Georges Road and Nassau Street.
