Bentley Community Services (BCS), a designated 501(c)3 charitable organization based out of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, has been helping families in financial crisis from across the state regain self-sufficiency since 2013 by providing a full range of quality grocery provisions each week, supplementing income and offsetting grocery bills.

Bentley creates access to healthy foods, facilitating healthy diets and nutrition so families receive full shopping carts each week, according to information provided by Dorothy Stearns-Holmes, executive director of BCS.

“The crucial monies that families save are applied toward their paying monthly bills and expenses, reducing debts, medical bills and make a much-needed repair as these families work toward financial stability and security,” she said.

Bentley also offers educational and informational workshops throughout the year facilitated by professionals.

“BCS is an alternative food pantry, servicing the entire Central New Jersey region of communities. We specifically address the needs of families who, though employed, do not receive traditional assistance and are challenged making ends meet. If you are struggling to make ends meets or know of a family who is, please refer them to us. We are also accepting a certain amount of seniors into our program, helping our neighbors in need in our communities,” she said.

The warehouse distribution facility is located at 4064 Route 1 north, Monmouth Junction.

For more information, call 908-227-0684, visit www.bentleycommunityservices.org or see the BCS Facebook page.

Donations of perishable, non-perishable foods and toiletries are accepted throughout the year.
