Howell PAL collects donations to help Texas

HOWELL – The Howell Police Athletic League and the Monmouth-Ocean County Police Athletic League are collecting supplies that will be sent to Texas to assist people who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Donations (tax deductible) may be dropped off at the Southard Community Enrichment Center, 115 Kent Road, Howell. Among the items needed are new clothing, socks, towels, disposable baby diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, batteries, cleaning supplies and large garbage bags.

Individuals who would like to make a monetary donation may mail a check to the Howell PAL, P.O. Box 713, Howell, NJ 07731 or drop off a donation at the PAL office at 115 Kent Road. The PAL may be reached at 732-919-2825.

The Howell PAL said it is sending a disaster response team to the region affected by Harvey to assist with cleanup and recovery efforts.
