KidGooRoo, a review site focused on student activities, has launched fundraisers with two local educational organizations in October: the Education Foundation of Little Silver, a 501c3 organization whose purpose is to enrich and support technology and other educational programs for students in the Little Silver School district as well as residents of the Little Silver community, and Deal School, the district of Deal’s K-8 public school.

For every review parents in each community write about a business listed on KidGooRoo, the company will donate to their educational organization.

The Education Foundation of Little Silver fundraising campaign launched on Oct. 2 and will last through Oct. 16. In Deal, the campaign begins Oct. 15 and runs through Oct. 29.

“We created KidGooRoo to provide parents with a single source to get all the information they need to make the best choices for their kid’s extracurricular activities,” said KidGooRooCo-founder Cathy Goldin in a press release from the organization. “Parents need honest feedback from other parents. The school fundraisers are a great way to expand the number of reviews to create a more useful resource for parents while raising money for area kids. It’s a win, win.”
