Tyler Gdovin of Howell, a doctor of physical therapy student at University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa., received a white coat at the 13th annual physical therapy white coat ceremony on Sept. 9. Gdovin continues on the path to receiving a doctor of physical therapy degree in May 2020.

Fairleigh Dickinson University students have been inducted into FDU’s Phi Zeta Kappa and Phi Omega Epsilon honor societies for the 2017 spring semester. Ayanna Tidwell of Howell has been inducted into FDU’s Phi Omega Epsilon honor society. Andrew Wood of Jackson has been inducted into FDU’s Phi Omega Epsilon honor society. Hailey Weigel of Jackson has been inducted into FDU’s Phi Zeta Kappa honor society.

Kristen Boyle of Jackson has been named a tutor by the Academic Success Center of Alvernia University, Reading, Pa. Boyle, who is studying occupational therapy, was selected to tutor writing and neuroscience for the 2017-18 academic year. Peer tutors work on a one-on-one basis or in small group sessions to answer students’ questions about course content and to aid in comprehension of course material.
