Health and Wellness programs at the Old Bridge Library

The Old Bridge Public Library will offer health and wellness-related programs in October at the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.

At 7 p.m. Oct. 19, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, there will be a session titled, “Getting Ready for the New You: Strategies for Preparation and Recovery from Breast Surgery” with Janice M. Woerner, a licensed occupational therapist and breast cancer survivor.

At 10:30 a.m. Oct. 26, the Library will present a “Reflexology and Foot Care” workshop with Dr. Sharon Joag and Tara Brown from East Brunswick Foot Care.

Also on Oct. 26, there will be a “Mind and Body Connection” session at 7 p.m. with physicians Claudia Huegel and Carol Penn from Shrewsbury’s Medimorphosis Physician Assisted Weight Loss.
