About 40 painted rocks have been hidden in outdoor public areas around South Brunswick as part of the 2018 Libraries Rock! Summer Reading Challenge.

The challenge is to first find the rock, which is painted with a random colorful image on one side and instructions on the underside. The instructions tell the finder to return it to the South Brunswick Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, to claim a prize.

The goal is to encourage the rock finder to visit the library to get a library card, book, movie, video game, etc.

All ages are welcome to participate.
