Hillsborough man charged with robbing bank in North Brunswick

NORTH BRUNSWICK – A Hillsborough man has been charged with first-degree robbery after allegedly robbing a bank in North Brunswick.

At approximately 11 a.m. on Oct. 29, patrol units were dispatched to a reported bank robbery that had just occurred at Valley National Bank, 2818 Route 27, North Brunswick. The suspect had reportedly just left the bank, according to information provided by the North Brunswick Police Department. No one was injured.

The suspect, 52, was apprehended near his home around 7 that night, according to reports. He is suspected in several other robberies throughout the area, and those investigations are ongoing with additional charges pending, according to the statement.
